Culinary Programs Le Cordon Bleu Pastry Arts & Culinary Arts Since our establishment in 1986, Pennsylvania Culinary Institute has grown to become one of the largest culinary and hospitality institutes in the United States. The institute has gained a reputation as a placement-oriented program and is one of the prime locations visited and utilized by national food service and hospitality organizations for their professional staffing needs. At Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, the most modern equipment and proven teaching methods are two important elements of our primary goal: To provide the finest culinary education available to those seeking a career in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts. School of Hotel and Restaurant Management The School of Hotel & Restaurant Management provides a unique educational opportunity to individuals wanting to pursue a career in hospitality management. At Pennsylvania Culinary, our hotel and restaurant management students receive a level of training not found in traditional four-year college hospitality curriculums. Our program meets the needs and desires of industry employers by preparing individuals to be proficient in both front and back of the house operations through practical, hands-on education viewed from the management perspective. Students of PCI's School of Hotel & Restaurant Management, gain a strong foundation in the principles of cooking and management. Admissions The application process provided by the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute guarantees the selection of only the best applicants for admission. Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, Pennsylvania Culinary Institute offer six different start dates, each with its own set of benefits. A student will work along with their Admissions Representative to determine which start date would be optimal for the student. Although there is no set deadline for submitting application, Pennsylvania Culinary Institute does limit its enrollment, so you are advised to apply as early as possible to ensure full consideration. Financial Aid Financial Aid is a process that many of our students utilize. Every student needs a personalized plan for paying for their education. While some pay by cash, many students use financial aid to help with their college costs. Our friendly Financial Aid staff is available to assist you through the financial aid application process. We are committed to helping every student, whether applying for financial aid or paying by cash, in completing their financial aid plan. Career Services Pennsylvania Culinary Institute is part of the Career Education Corporation network. Career Education Corporation is pleased to make placement assistance available for school graduates and alumni.
